These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Buildetr platform, operated by Buildetr ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using Buildetr, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use Buildetr.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Buildetr. By using our platform, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to the platform. No payment information is required during the trial period. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue using Buildetr.
Buildetr offers three subscription plans — Starter, Pro, and Enterprise — with monthly and annual billing options. Plan details, including project limits, user limits, and included features, are described on our pricing page.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of your paid subscription, contact us at hello@buildetr.com for a full refund. After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for cancellations mid-period.
You retain ownership of all data, content, and files you upload to Buildetr. We do not claim any ownership over your construction data, project records, photos, or other content.
By uploading content to Buildetr, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You may export your data at any time using our CSV export and PDF report features. We will also provide a full data export upon request before account deletion.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for the data you choose to upload to our platform.
We aim to maintain high availability of the Buildetr platform. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may occasionally take the platform offline for maintenance, updates, or emergency fixes.
We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features from the platform at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notifications where reasonably possible.
Buildetr and all its content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to the software, design, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Buildetr and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform without our explicit written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buildetr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Buildetr shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Buildetr is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
Buildetr is a tool to assist with construction management. All construction decisions, safety assessments, and professional judgements remain your sole responsibility.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@buildetr.com. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Buildetr after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
